God the Son
Jesus is the eternal Son of God and the second person of the Trinity. Because He is fully God, He existed with the Father from the very beginning, and all things were created through Him and for Him. As the only begotten Son of the Father, He was sent by the Father and willingly came from heaven to accomplish God’s redemptive plan for salvation. After rising from the dead, He remained with His disciples for forty days before ascending into heaven where He is now seated at the right hand of the Father. Upon His second return, He will defeat sin and death once and for all."

If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?”

And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.'"
